Italian-inspired wines meet rustic, regional hospitality.
The cellar door at Mount Towrong is open for wine tastings, lunch and dinner, set amongst the vines with views across the Macedon Ranges.
Wine tastings are available without a booking. Walk in and we'll introduce you to the range. Tastings run from 12pm on Fridays, and from 10am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Lunch is served from 12pm to 3:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is available Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Bookings are recommended for both, seating is limited and we'd hate for you to miss out.
Handmade pasta by Chef Andrea Rigodanza and Mediterranean-inspired wines make for a relaxed afternoon or evening on the mountain.

OUR WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE
Step inside and settle in—our two-story cellar door is built for slow afternoons, great conversation, and exceptional wine.
Downstairs, the tasting space offers an intimate introduction to our wines, where you can chat with the team about both estate-grown varieties and those sourced from regions of Victoria that mirror their Italian origins.
From Chardonnay and Prosecco thriving in the cool Macedon Ranges, to Nebbiolo and Negroamaro growing in Heathcote’s ancient Cambrian soils, each wine tells a story of place and tradition.
Whether estate-grown or regionally sourced, the approach is the same: hand-picked fruit, sustainable practices, and wines made to pair effortlessly with food.

ENOTECA DINING, A TASTE OF ITALY IN THE MACEDON RANGES
In Italy, an Enoteca is a casual spot where wine and food take centre stage. It is a place to sip, graze, and enjoy seasonal dishes made to match the wines on offer.
At Mount Towrong, our Enoteca-style menu is a nod to this tradition, offering rustic, homestyle dishes that change weekly depending on what’s in peak season from local producers. Expect a selection of handmade pasta, antipasto, house-made focaccia and preserves, artisanal cheeses, seasonal specialties, and always a little something for the sweet tooth. All designed to be shared at a relaxed pace, just as you’d find in a small Italian wine bar.
Settle in upstairs with vineyard views, downstairs in the cosy cellar door, or outside in the courtyard when the sun’s shining.
Dinner service: Friday & Saturday, 5pm - 8pm
Lunch service: Friday to Sunday, 12pm – 3:30pm
Bookings encouraged to secure a seat, but walk-ins welcome when space allows.
PRIVATE EVENTS & FUNCTIONS
From milestone celebrations to intimate weddings, Mount Towrong is a versatile, relaxed venue for special gatherings. The cellar door offers a warm and welcoming space, with options for both seated and cocktail-style events. The kitchen space is available to use, or you can book your own catering. Naturally, all wine and beverages can be arranged in-house.
